Description of 🚀 PROGRIP 031411 Marine Fishing and Ski Boat Tie Downs: Gunwale Strap with Hooks, 16 Feet x 2 Inch (Pack of 1)

Recommended to be used together to ensure safe transport although can be used alone; Pack of 1 Gunwale Tie Down measures 16' x 2" with 1,200 lb. break strength and 400 lb. working load limit. Not worth it, good for ties and anchors

You get what you pay for. They're cheap and flimsy, but will work for now. It won't take another year. Part of the Velcro has already come loose. Won't buy this again.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

Look elsewhere for belts.

These are cheap straps. The tensioner is cheap and bites into my boat. The flap that is supposed to prevent this is not big enough and after about 100 feet they move and bite the boat. I need to improvise something that covers the area where they hit the boat.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Not well designed. Best in Truck Flatbed & Tailgate Accessories

Bought to replace a pair that broke on a recent 1000 mile trip due to some rough roads. Bought several pairs from other brands and was pleased. They are poorly designed to both protect the boat and mount securely. The part of the strap that protects the boat from metal damage is too small and my boat has scratches from friction. I will replace them with a better pair asap.

but the quality is very bad! The worst

I wasn't very impressed! I really wanted purple, the color of my boat, but the quality is very poor! The worst thing is that the strap doesn't slip through the buckle. And the cam system doesn't take up enough slack to accommodate the depth of the hook, so you have to force the hook around whatever you're attaching it to, then slide the strap through the buckle again, then reverse the cam to tighten it. If the strap slides over the cam (when open) everything is fine. Let's see if times get…

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • speed

Used as a fly

looking for a fly to take the pressure off the winch and all the others i found had a loop on one side and an s hook on the other. My boat has room for an S-hook on the trailer and of course it's on the bow of the boat. Since it's just an extra support I didn't need more than 1 inch x 2 feet, but I couldn't find it anywhere other than $40 so I searched for mirror mounts and found these cheap ones (since I only needed one, now have stock for the future when the straps on that strap finally fail…

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
