Charging works fine as long as a battery is connected to each port. At first I only connected 2 batteries and it wasn't that they didn't work, I just wasn't sure how well they worked. Then when I connected the 3rd battery it worked as expected with the indicator lights and everything went as expected. Happy with this charger so far!

I had a similar charger made by ProMariner for BassPro. Zero problems with it in the last 4 years. Always performs well. I also like the fact that you can leave them connected and they act as a supervisor. Bought this Promariner for my new bass boat. So far, so good. The new Basspro chargers are either not made by this company or their quality control is limited. There are many problems with BPS chargers these days.

I returned this unit because it would not turn on. However, they have a major internal failure problem after about a year of use. There can be no user abuse as all the wires going to your batteries have fuses. Any wrong action on the part of the consumer should result in a blown fuse. This company needs to know that there are flaws in their design. I have a $20 charger that's 15 years old and still works great. I had 2 of these and both died just over a year after purchase.
