Would recommend this unit to anyone, very small and very sensitive to odorless gas. Excellent value for money, reasonable price and timely delivery, 100% recommended.

There was a question about the placement of my alarm clock and the company provided a quick response with suggestions that confirmed my question and provided great recommendations. The alarm clock looks very well made and offers a great alarm clock (in review) that you can't miss even when you're sleeping.

I have no sense of smell and my propane supplier tends to overfill my tanks. When it gets warm enough, the safety valve starts hissing, but it's barely noticeable. I hung one of these in the shed next to the tanks and it alerted me as soon as one of the valves started to open. I was pretty impressed with the sensitivity.

I tested it on our gas stove and it worked. I then hung it up in our garage where my wife kept telling me she smelled gas. In the control room we have 2 air handling units, a water heater and a gas water heater. The HVAC guys checked several times and found nothing, but my wife was still concerned. Since installing it, it has never turned off, and my wife has stopped worrying (and bothering me).

We accidentally left the gas stove on several times (press the button when cleaning) and came home with a strong smell of gas in the house. The alarm clock rang last time. Experimenting with "accidentally left on" gas, we found a spot above the stove where the alarm went off after about a minute. This alarm won't help us much if we screw up when we leave the house, but it should at least help us if the handle is bumped while someone is in the house.

I recently moved into Park Model and new to me is the use of a propane gas stove. There was a gas detector, but it only beeped when a leak was detected. In order to be active I wanted a product that would give me a visual indication if the propane level was ever abnormal. This product does exactly what I want it to do. With its digital numeric display, I can see where I've been reading at any time. As long as I see zero, I know my propane source is working properly. I would highly recommend it…
