Accurate Measurements with 📏 the Proster Digital Micrometer Electronic Diameter Review

As the title suggests this is a good quality micrometer at a good price. The functions are the same as described on Revain. It is very easy to get reproducible readings with heading and fine tuning. I gave it four stars because the micrometer is larger than the standard micrometer and makes it difficult to read with one hand. This is easily loosened with a micrometer vise.

On first use the 'Quick Drive' section came loose and the entire handle assembly fell apart including the spring which is almost impossible to reattach. These are just plastic threads that hardly twist. A small screw or some kind of glue could easily prevent this. You'd think a designer wouldn't make the screw in the breech part of the tool to turn as well. Buying cheap junk is gambling.

Works well, high repeatability and accuracy - probably not at the level of high end instruments but quite in line with my expectations. but smooth and easy to use. The ability to easily switch between inch and metric is very useful, especially when reverse engineering and trying to figure out the dimensions of the original part.
