My child loves this helmet! We purchased it because of the reasonable price and the adjustable head strap in the back. She also loved the color and design. So far we haven't had to use it--thank god--but one day, when she falls (because it's unavoidable) I'll be even more happy with the purchase.

Purchased for my 5 year old for riding and the fit is perfect. Perfect purchase ! True to size. The helmet is comfortable and constructed well.

I have two horse mad daughters who each have a 20-21" head circumferance, measured just above the top of the ear level. It was hard to determine which size hat to get but in the end, and with a lot of website surfing, we bought the small size for each. They tell me that with the dial adjustment they can easily make the hat fit comfortable.They put it at the largest setting first and then adjusted down from there. Can't give a review on how well they last yet but at least we got the right…

This is a very well made and also beautiful riding helmet for a child. Troxel is known for its quality products, and this helmet is no exception. This way they can ride safely and in style.

We bought it for my 6 year old. We measured her head and ordered the size based off the size chart. It fits perfectly, and can grow with her because of the adjustable head band inside. It sits firmly in one place and she can focus on her skills instead of worrying about her helmet sliding around. Thank you to the other reviewers for posting the size chart!

My daughter loves the horse on it. Riding instructor says it's a great helmet. All the ones in the stores were plain and boring so glad I found this one that is not only fun but cheaper too! Fits great she is 8 and I got a small.
