low quality parts, and metal

screws won't stay, pull back out , the pastice hinges break, for the pice a very low quality product, tried to buy more screws to maybe get it to work, screws take over a month, with a lot of hassles to order off amazon. don't buy

Garden gate good for me

This gate is exactly what we needed to protect our garden from deer. Although the wooden post were level, the land was not. Therefore the gate dropped a little when we opened it. We ended up putting a diagonal wire support and it doesn’t drop anymore. We are very happy with our purchase.

Overall OK. but I had to modify

The 6 corner brackets aren't designed to fit tightly. The bolts for the corner brackets don't lock into place in order to tighten, and even when the brackets do tighten down, there is play, and the gate drops from its own weight. I had to modify the brackets by adding metal screws to make it a tight and secure fit.

Assembly Required in my review

Nice looking gate. Assembly required. Takes 2 people to put together. Instructions are not well done. Hole drilling is necessary. Good luck.

You will not be disappointed in this high quality gate.

I am all thumbs when it comes to putting anything together. But with the YouTube tutorials I was able to put the gate together No Problem! The gate is beautiful and of high quality. I would to hesitate to buy from this company again. Customer Service is 5 stars.

No flanges in my review

Fence seems to be decent quality. Contacted. Make sure if you are attaching to concrete that the flanges are available for purchase. Contacted XCEL the first time they said look on Revain. They weren't there. Contacted them again and said please send me the link, they are not there. They said oh yeah, they are not available for purchase and we don't know why. They said they would send some out. I received them three days later and just checked to see if they were there. They were now on Revain…

Sams Club Gate good for me

Seller is taking a Sams club labeled item and marking it up 100% and not disclosing that this is a Sams Club labeled product. IF the seller had disclosed this, I would have purchased the gate from Sams Club. Parts were missing, no instructions, and corner braces all cracked during installation. The installer needs to be very careful when tightening the braces and Xcel should provide torque specs for the corner brace bolts. I returned the item and filed a complaint with Sams Club who in…

Beautiful but difficult to put together and install.

This gate was a perfect finish to my garden project. The directions and instructions leave much to be desired. This is really a two person project, and I suggest watching the videos before putting it together. This is very heavy, and install is time consuming. We had to make some adjustments for everything to hold properly, but the end product was worth the price and all our time and effort.

Heavy and easy to assemble

Put this together in about a total of 20 minutes, by myself. Laid it out on the grass and got it done easily. Gate is very heavy, make sure your posts are in deep, and cement fully dry, so that the gate doesn’t weigh the post down crooked when it’s attached at the hinges. Minus 1 star because self-closing is not working.

SIMPLY A GATE: my feedback

all the reviews should be 5 star. This is a miracle for me, not having to "hire" some "guy" to install. So easy, anyone can assemble. Even a grandma!

No instructions? best in my review

They DIDNT send me INSTRUCTIONS and this isn't easy to install in the slightest. I see all these screws and no place to screw them. Am I suppose to drill the metal myself? I'm sure it's a great gate but don't put EASY TO INSTALL when there's so much work you left us to do.

Very impressed in my review

Very impressed with the sturdiness of this gate and the ease of assembly. The finished product is much nicer looking then welded gates I have elsewhere on my property. When I had some questions for the Company they were very easy to reach and wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase from them again.

Poorly designed, poor quality metal, not 4 foot wide, needed much modification to make it function

I eventually added 90+ sheet metal screws to this gate, otherwise it sagged several inches and would have fallen apart. Poor quality metal, poor quality design, right angle brace cracked; gate is not as wide as advertised (several inches narrower than four feet wide), and the hinges are not even steel, they are made of plastic! This gate is a waste of money. With several hours modifying the gate, it might last long enough to rust out -- which I anticipate will happen quickly, given the thin…

Flange and flange cover is NOT included, falsely advertised!

Falsely advertised as implantable to concrete etc with "included flange and flange cover” HOWEVER flange and cover is NOT INCLUDED! This item is missing from all packages as can be read from other reviews also. If you have a concrete base to set this gate, then you’ll need to find matching flanges and covers somehow, and spend hours on that also.
