Pin too short in transmission components

This didn't work on my fat bike The stem that holds the chain guide is too short to access the front ring and chain. It's well done but won't work for me

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Large chain guide with horn

This is a large chain guide with horn. It has a lot of customization and looks like it will work fine. Doesn't seem to weigh much more than anything else. Easily adjustable due to the number of tension screws.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Compatibility

Excellent chain guard - chain guard

The best chain guard I have ever used. I built an e-bike. When hitting a curb, the chain constantly flew off. My chain is heavily loaded with a 750 motor. This protection keeps the chain in place in all riding conditions I've been in.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some nuances

Great bike chain guide

This is a great product, I upgraded my old Specialized mountain bike to a 1x. I just wanted to make sure the chain didn't jump out of the way. Easy to install, comes with spacers for thicker frames and can adapt to fog if not all frames.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Working speed

Almost perfect for chain guard

Almost perfect but had to use a dremel to hollow out the inside as it wasn't wide enough to fit the chain when I was in the smallest and largest gears. But it certainly held my chain when going over bumpy terrain where it used to come loose. Good product.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quality

Nice but time consuming. Customization

Bought because 1 looks cool, 2 is well built and 3 works. But it's finicky as hell and takes a lot of adjustment to get it right so the chain doesn't rub against it when you shift into different gears. Overall I'm very happy with it, but I'll admit that in the future I'll probably buy another one that's a little easier to set up and install.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Can be used on bikes with fat tires

I'm giving it three stars because I couldn't find anything better. With a few trips to the hardware store, some fabrication, and a bit of trial and error, things can work out just fine. But right out of the box it's a complete piece of junk, actually the chain falls off more. But after a little annoyance it works very well for me now.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Big and bulky

The chain no longer falls off!

A little ugly but works great. I have a Schwinn Axum and the stock transmission doesn't have a clutch, meaning the chains kept throwing off. It got so bad that I broke the cassette and eventually the chain and pulled the switch. My bike's bottom bracket doesn't have a mount for a traditional chain guide or shock guard, so I had to use one that mounts directly to the lower seat tube. I installed it a few months ago and haven't had a single drop since.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say
