The only thing I had to "adjust" was to poke at the sloping section of metal it bolts to. So I just used a power sander to bevel that edge to better fit the slope. Then it was in the best place to be screwed. Everything else worked and works.

No more kicks or floor creaks. I installed Currie engine mounts. There's a bit more vibration at idle, but with the top down I don't notice it 90% of the time unless I try. Nothing in the cabin vibrates or resonates. Less vibration when accelerating and driving - the transmission feels much crisper.

Very strong bracket. The old bearing bracket was worn and allowed a lot of movement, causing the gearbox and catalytic converter to bang against each other very hard. With this mount there is no more knocking and more power at the wheels because there is less transmission loss. A good balance is important, however, as it transmits every tiniest vibration to the chassis.

I bought this bracket thinking if I had already disassembled it for an engine change on my 97 2.5 tj I could do a transmission bracket as well. Haven't run it yet but was impressed with the quality compared to stock. The installation was perfect, I compared the position of all mounting holes and screws for the skid plate and everything matched up perfectly. and it will not stretch or fall off.

This transmission mount was a direct replacement for my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I tore the rusty bolts off the shaft when removing the bottom. When replacing the oil pan, make sure that the transmission is raised. The bottom bolts initially mismatched when I first tightened the top bolts. I've found that it's best to leave everything loose, straighten it out, and slowly work it back into place. This product looks good. However, when trying to install it, I found that it appears to be a bit wider than the part I removed.
