Best mobile base at lowest price

I recently restored my 90's dresser and needed a mobile base to move it around the workshop. had to offer and decided to try the protocol. It was well packaged and none of the parts were damaged. The instructions were a little confusing because the parts list showed parts that were already pre-assembled in the swivel housing. Once I figured it out, assembly was pretty easy. So far I'm very happy with the strength and maneuverability of the base and will definitely buy it again.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here

Probably the best in this price range.

I just installed a couple of these on my little band saw and my little drill press. Good solid parts and good fittings. You can always tell crap by the quality of bolts, nuts, wheels, etc. This kit is top notch in that regard. A long time ago I used casters on all four corners where possible as they are much more maneuverable than two casters and two. corrected. I wish these coasters had four caster wheels but I can kind of understand why as the rear swivel wobbles a bit. Anyway, I don't think…

Great equipment trolley

I am setting up a workshop and would like to move equipment flexibly because I have little space. At first I thought it was too expensive. You are not. I'm an engineer and they are very well designed and built. There are no flimsy details here. At first I only bought 1 to try. I was very satisfied and bought 3 more. 3 of my items were a standard size and all fit the product measurements. However, the 1 item I have is a planer/carpenter and it is about twice the size of my other items. I cut off

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

Good mobile base for the money, but

This mobile base is well made from durable materials, easy to assemble and seems to maneuver fairly well. However, it has some disadvantages. If machine height is important, this mobile base adds at least 2 inches to the overall height of your vehicle, and adding a sheet of plywood between the machine and mobile base gives you even more height. Therefore, it also raises the center of gravity. I was planning on using it under a Rikon bandsaw but it adds more table height than I would like. Many…

Pros
  • Sturdy build

  • Something different

Not strong and difficult to assemble

This product is not intended for use. If it bends when you move the machine and it's not safe for the band saw I bought it for. It is made in the form of an assembly kit and has weak side and end rails and corner supports in which the machine is placed. It's also not possible to build a base around an existing car, meaning you have to jack up each end and place each side of the dolly under the car. The real problem arises when you want the carriage to be slightly larger than the base of your…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Nicely made, fairly durable for the most part. Great addition to your shop.

Ideal for your business. A little something. When you run it at the max size of 33 inches there isn't much support in the side rails as you only have 2 closely spaced bolts in the middle of the span and at each end. Just not enough overlap to keep things completely rigid. But that's really not a big problem because all the weight comes from the corners. The side rails just keep the corners where they need to be. Get more overlap, especially if you can use one rail per side, this thing is…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Empty

I wish I had found this sooner!

I have a small 1 car garage. It's cramped in there with my big bag, fridge, motorcycle lift table and other random tools. Access to the table saw was extremely awkward. It certainly helped. I would rate a table saw at around 60-70 pounds. So his weight is in the acceptable range. The assembly wasn't difficult, I didn't look at the instructions, it was clear how everything is assembled. Be careful not to overtighten the small screws, they require no more than 10-15lbs, anything beyond that you…
