I have a Nighthawk M1100 router. I live in the middle of nowhere and usually after VERY careful positioning I'm lucky enough to get 2 lanes. Before using this I was downloading around 2-3 Mbps on a good day. After that I get somewhere between 20-25 Mbps. Huge improvement. For some reason my router shows the signal as 1 band but my speeds are much better anyway. Confused as to why that is, but hey. I have an access point that I use to access the Internet at home. Before I bought these antennas, I reached maximum download speeds of 6 Mbit/s and uploads of 1 Mbit/s. When I plugged them in and set Mhz to 40 and Mimo to 2 x 2, my upload speed increased to at least 14-18 Mbit/s and can go up to 30 Mbit/s when uploading and upload speeds are usually 5 to 6 Mbit / With. I bought this to increase the reception of my Netgear 4G LTE modem (LB1120) but it made no difference. I had 2 bars before and 2 bars after. After installing and using these antennas in a Netgear Nighthawk Access Point for about three weeks before returning them, I didn't notice any difference in Wi-Fi signal strength . The same with or without antennas.

Absolute rubbish. Don't give a fuck. Nothing! zilch! Don't waste your money on those external antennas. We've connected to our Nighthawk mobile hotspots in hopes of improving the signal. Started with a bar. Stopped at a bar.
