PRW pulley better than OEM

pulley bought to replace the ones on MCS. We don't know how many kilometers he drove in the car, but it started to break. The PRW pulley was easy to install and following the excellent ModMini video we quickly removed the old pulley and installed the new one. , no extraneous noise, and the engine runs quietly (uh). No more play and no more ticking when the old pulley touches the timing case cover.

Good alternative to OEM

Cylinder Head Replacement so I did it as a preventative. The engine seems to run smoother. Note. I left it in the oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. He almost slipped and sat on the wave. I've checked it before, when it's cold it's definitely an interference fit. Edit: It's been 3-4k miles since install. It still drives as it should. I haven't seen any hesitation since day one. During installation I also replaced the tensioner damper. When the tensioner shock fails, the damperโ€ฆ

Did not meet my expectations

After installing this harmonic damper, I noticed strong vibrations in the damper when idling. A more problematic issue I had was the belt tensioner moving back and forth to take up the bumps in the damper and making a slapping noise at low rpm as the rpm increased. There were no problems above 1500 rpm. Be careful if you need to remove this damper, the puller threaded holes are further apart than most pullers can handle. In the end I returned it. Replaced it with an ATI damper which is muchโ€ฆ

Great replacement balancer!

Proper replacement for original poorly designed M/C OEM! U tube mini mod, great video procedure but wrong screw sizes listed. Thread pitch 6mm x 1.0mm x 30mm hardened. 8.8 to 10.9 screws will work and require 12mm x 1.50mm coarse thread x 100mm to reinstall. and make sure the lock is tight on this factory harmonic bolt. Also check your torque specifications on the harmonic bolt. I've seen the specs differ from others, but 85 to 113 lbs of torque on the harmonic screw just speaks! Just a fewโ€ฆ

Pulley damaged, check on receipt.

needless to say and I want to do this when I receive it. So I was able to get a replacement, but TWO grooves arrived DAMAGED from some crash. The pulley then received a final coat of powder paint and for some reason it went through the entire "inspection" before I received it. Regardless, it was way better than what I had, it's for daily driving, so I'm not going to drive this 225,000 mile car, and it doesn't go very fast. I filed the damaged grooves to keep the belt from breaking and did asโ€ฆ
