🚪 PT Auto Warehouse CH-2833A-DP - Interior Inner Door Handle Set, Black - Left and Right Pair Review

Started with the passenger door handle and couldn't engage the bottom latch. The plastic tab broke immediately!. Now I'm stuck with a doorknob that still doesn't work. I don't think I'll even try to change the driver's grip now. The product is not of good quality.

Installation failed. Took it to my mechanic. He had to remove the panels to hook the locks. After listening to this man for 15 minutes he looked at me and said why do you need locks? The windows have zippers. The locks work great. So if someone tries to open the door of my Jeep, I'm safe.

Fits my 93 YJ Sport Jeep. I gave 3 stars for durability because it seems as cheap as the original considering the original lasted 26 years. 5 stars for the installation, anyone with a bit of DIY skills and basic tools can do it. And the last 4 stars for the money you spend it's a good deal for what you get.

They are suitable as a cheap replacement for standard handles. The pull handles are much softer plastic and you can feel the handles flex a lot when you pull on them. They lasted a few months but feels like they break every time you open the door. But for the price you get what you pay for.

I have an 89 YJ. The 89 has a different clip that attaches to the original grips than the new grips I bought. I had to cut about 1/2 inch off the inner steel rods to get them to fit properly. No big deal, it took 5 minutes. Steel rods were provided for the locking mechanism and door handle. After cutting the two steel rods, the grips fit perfectly and work great.

I bought it thinking how much Taiwan could screw up. Well, after installing those cheap shits and reinstalling the door panels, window handles, and armrests, I gave it a try. Press the lock and they will be unlocked. Click the connector and they snap into place. Thinking I did something wrong, I disassembled everything and started over. No, I did everything right. I ordered these to replace a broken driver's side handle on my 03 TJ. The passenger side was about to crack so I decided to replace that as well. While it wasn't the easiest task I've ever done, it wasn't the most time-consuming either. I didn't have to remove the door panels. I used needle nose pliers, pulled out the metal rods as much as possible and attached them to the handle. If you do this on the driver's side, the passenger's side will go much faster.
