After I put it to the test, I can confidently say that this ignition system is a game changer. I noticed an immediate improvement in engine start-up time and overall performance. The installation process was simple and straightforward, taking only a few minutes. The build quality is top notch and the price is reasonable. The only downside is that it is not compatible with all car models.

Perfect for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. This solved some mysterious electrical problems caused by low voltage going through one of the switches in the old assembly (as some voltage was going through it was the fan and other elements in the circuit intermittently, making diagnosis difficult).

I was hesitant to buy this ignition switch as many similar ignition switches indicate that they are for vehicles with RPO code D55 (meaning the presence of a front floor console) ( RPO codes are listed on a sticker in the trunk lid). My 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix has a front floor console but does NOT have that specific RPO code. (RPO = normal production option).
