🔍 F184 Transmission Filter Kit for PTC Review

Arrived a day earlier and included both pads than I stayed. Will update more as I install the filter and use the correct gasket.

Perfect. Loved the fact that I didn't have to crawl under it first to determine which gearbox was in it as it contained BOTH oil pan gaskets. No leaks

Fits and performs like original equipment but the gasket was bent and looked broken so I reused the original Ford rubber gasket. If they rolled the block instead of folding it, it wouldn't have ruined the block.

The filter fits fine but I found this notice on the bottom of the box having already installed the gasket. I was wondering why the seal extrudes too much even at half the OEM torque spec. I was just glad I hadn't topped up the oil yet! I will swap this seal for the factory seal.

The box was damaged, no big deal. The box still had the correct part number I needed, I thought it would actually contain the part I ordered. However, I looked at the part number stamped on the filter itself and it turned out to be a completely different number. Any other filter is one thing, but transmission isn't what you need.

I WILL DO SOMEONE A GREAT SERVICE AND I WILL THROW THIS PRODUCT INTO THE WASTE! I received this product in a tattered box that was half opened and ripped open. It appears to be a returned item that was sold as new. I know why. It doesn't fit my car even after I checked if the product fits my car using Revain software. It would be easier and cheaper for me to shop local, like most of my purchases.
