Useless Filler for Car Gas Cap

When I tried this product, I found it to be a complete waste of money. It did not fit well and left me disappointed. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor fit and overall uselessness.

2 " is not the expected size - 2 " inner diameter!

2" is not a 2" cap as expected and what I ordered passed. When ordering a cap, the size usually refers to the inside diameter, but this seller calls the cap 1.5 2 inches because the cap itself is 2 inches. I actually measured the inside diameter and it's 1.43 inches for the 2 inch cap I received. Everyone, yes, others said the same thing - I missed the comments!

Pros
  • A set of replacement caps is machined from billet aluminum with a polished finish, one pressure cap is included.
Cons
  • Dear Sir/Madam,

Quality Replacement Parts

I used this to build a small diesel tank for the auxiliary heating. I'm not a big TIG welder but I still managed to weld it with no leaks. Tested the tank under pressure to 40psi to find leaks (yes I've had a few, again not a very good welder) but I will say there weren't any in the lid. Beautifully welded. The surface finish is so good that the O-ring in the lid is tight. I'll probably have to drill a tiny hole in the threads so I can turn this sealed cap into a vented one. No problem and I…

Pros
  • The coolant reservoir cap is a great way to add a custom look to your engine.
Cons
  • I won't say anything
