Expand the possibilities of your little swimmer!

I LOVE this vest for my 30 lb 2 year old even though it's technically rated at 33-55 lbs. This allows his arms to float freely (unlike real puddle jumpers which kids don't learn to swim easily/properly) and it pushes him out of the water without squeezing his head/face. He loves wearing it! I also like that the zipper is on the back so he can't mess with it. I just wish there were more options for gender neutral templates - mainly non-girl whales :)

Pros
  • Made in the USA or Imported
Cons
  • Some Cons

In a word, does it work?

The vest will keep your child's head above the water, but the vest will not stay in place. Once in the water the vest rises and rests on the child's chin/jaw. The zipper on the back cuts into the back of the child's head. No real cut just pressing on the skin which caused my child to complain of discomfort. Otherwise it seems to work. We sent it back leaving only the life jacket we have for the boat which has a strap that goes over the legs and clips in the front that keep the life jacket on…

Pros
  • 100% polyester
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Ideal! No more sores or annoying bumps on your neck!

My daughter hated wearing her normal life jacket all day because she kept rubbing her crotch strap. Now she has this one for security and confidence and she loves it. Fits her perfectly. The built in rash guard really keeps the vest from walking down her face all day (the crotch strap is just as annoying). And her shoulders and chest are protected from the sun. This gives excellent buoyancy, but she is still able to move freely, hover, and float on her back. Will definitely buy again without…

Pros
  • Woven polyester for a softer, less chafing fabric
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Great summer purchase

This was a summer life saver. My daughter cannot swim and her summer camp takes her to the pool weekly. This calms me down and helps her work on her punches and kicks without tying her hands with floats. And it doesn't have that annoying strap that goes through the legs like most lifejackets of this size because it zips up at the back and fastens with a belt at waist level. She liked the other version when she was younger but this one is perfect for her at 6 years old. It's also good that it…

Pros
  • Zipper closure and adjustable rear buckle for a secure fit
Cons
  • I'll be silent
