a bit of fat for my kids to eat

I took these cans and mixed up half the can with some of their kibble for dinner. It was too strong or too much protein for her when mixed. My dogs are small breads, which may be the reason. But mixed works well. They like it much better than their dry food. This is good value for money.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Some loose change

Demanding Pomeranian approved!

My pomeranian became quite fussy with age and developed some allergies to an ingredient in dry dog food, so I had to resort to canned food on the recommendation of her vet. She loves Mighty Dog very much! She enjoys eating it and has no negative reactions and seems to have a little more energy - with her degenerative heart disease she needs the right diet! - So I'm a Happy Pet Mommy!

Pros

  • Appearance

Well as a long time dog owner I have tried all types of dog food. Now I've settled on the Mighty Dog brand, just whole food pie. It's really hard to find, but there's a crushed variety in a jar of the same size. My little bunch creations don't just want pie for some reason. They just show the pie in five seconds. If our economy gets any better I'll have to stop eating this side for myself. Ha ha. Remember if the shipping package is heavy. In my case, two or more jars were damaged when opened…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

TA Dah! Finally a dog food my dog loves!

I have gradually switched to wet food several times because he never wants to eat. When I feed him in the evening, there is often still a lot (or all) of his breakfast in the bowl. As soon as I gave him the chicken and smoked bacon combo (ground) he ate every last bite - same morning and evening for the past few days. Let's see if he's as excited about the other flavors in this combo pack! (I didn't gradually introduce new food this time because I'd tried the Mighty Dog kind of discs before)…

Crumpled cans and moldy food

My dog grew up on this brand of dog food. When my local grocery store ran out of stock, I decided to contact Revain to buy it and have it shipped straight to my door. I've bought it a few times and although the glasses were often dented it was still possible to serve the food to my dog. That was before this purchase. The box and jars of groceries were quite battered and some of the jars were clearly damaged. (see photo). I'm between a rock and a hard place as my dog is used to eating this brand

What's wrong with this brand?

My dogs have always preferred a strong dog. Her favorite was the shredded variety changed to chunks, well my dogs didn't like the change to chunks or the taste. I had to throw away 1/2 can at a time. The company should return to its original recipes. I've tried all the flavors and my dogs won't even eat ANY of the flavors! At this point I will start making my own dog food. $15 a week is too expensive to throw away barely eaten cans! And I'm fed up with crumpled cans in an untouched box…
