On some filters the edge is very hard on some aftermarket filters but not on this one. This is very flexible and fits right over the edge of the box. Good filter, fits immediately. There is no arguing about this filter. When it's hot outside, it makes a big difference.

Excellent product. The rubber on the filter is great. Not an easy installation. The rubber appears to be very thick and the lid is difficult to screw in once installed. The product looks high quality but the fit is not the best. It looks like the screw is under tension as it was difficult to install.

I used to use FRAM filters on my 2004 Camry but the new ones didn't have a rubber rim and were all paper. The seizure was terrible and they felt bad. I did some research and decided to try the Purolator brand. The Purolator A35432 looked very good, had a rubber rim and fit like a glove. If you are looking for an alternative to FRAM filters, the Purolator A35432 is for you.

The filter took longer than expected to install as the edges are covered with rubber. This made it difficult to fit into the air intake and properly seal all edges when tightening the air intake screws. I reinstalled a factory filter with no rubber edges just to see if it would fit properly and it did. So expect a fight if you decide to buy this Purolator filter.

I bought this air filter because I knew a long time ago that I would need to replace it when I hit a certain mileage on my 2010 Toyota Rav4 3.5 engine.
