Includes box, made in USA

Appears to be well built. My Purolator has 6 small holes at the top plus a large threaded hole to screw in. The Mobil 1 filter he replaced had 5 small holes and one large thread. I like the Purolator body painted red because it makes it easier to spot stains or oil leaks.

Best Filters - Replacement Parts

Purolator filters are the best you can get for your car. I would go with the Boss filter, but it was a lot bigger than my standard size and I didn't want any problems. came quickly The box is a little wrinkled but the filter is in perfect condition. Will update if there are any issues but I doubt there will be any.

Received a used filter. WTH

I received this product sold by Revain Services today and had to request a refund. The filter box was open, the bottom and one of the valves just didn't belong anymore, and what was worse, the filter wasn't tight and smelled strongly of oil. I believe it was already installed by someone and then removed, cleaned and put back in the torn box. I don't mind if the box is open, but that's ridiculous for items like filters.

  • GOLS certified

Great quality for my Hyundai and Honda

They are great for the price and durability. Don't skimp on oil filters. Please investigate. They are a perfect fit for the 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid [PL14459]. I had this Purolator One brand for my Honda and it's going strong so I bought it for Hyundai too. No dry starts or leaks. Everything looks groovy. Oil and filter changed, the car runs like clockwork. Peace of mind is the best thing you can have when it comes to DIY car building projects.

Great for 2014 Hyundai Elantra SE

Great oil filter for 2014 Hyundai Elantra. It works fine but a real Hyundai mechanic told me that Hyundai OEM oil is as good or even better. (I realize they almost had to say that, but I've spoken to the guy a few times and he seems honest.) I think Hyundai makes high quality filters specifically for their cars. Also, it is cheaper than this filter. Hey why not? Here is the Hyundai filter: Genuine Hyundai Replacement Oil Filter 26300-35503 OEM. I would use it if your cars are still under…

Just good Oil filter filter

Purolator oil filters are well made and reliable. If you really want to test the quality of an oil filter, cut it off at the base so you can strip the metal on the outside of a used filter. I used to like Fram. They have the highest quality filter paper of any brand. You also glue the bottom of the corrugated section to the paper bottom. No rolled metal edge, nothing. Of the 4 frames I cut, 2 had the bottom part separated from the side. That is, there was no filtering. The oil just flows…

Purolator filters are GREAT filters!

I've always heard that Purolator filters are better than most, so in the fall of 2003 I bought a brand new 2003 Hyundai Elantra. It now has 405,000 miles on it. I use Amsoil 10/30 fully synthetic oil. Change the oil every 25,000 miles and filter halfway or every 12-13,000 miles. I always use Purolator pl14459 filters. I recently replaced the valve cover gasket and the top of the engine looked like a new dime. I know from experience that Purolator makes GREAT filters. I now change my oil at…

Installed on Honda Accord 2001 4 cyl.

Not much to say. I am satisfied with the product. Although some will wonder why I have so much confidence in the product. I have personally not had a bad experience with this range of oil filters and acknowledge that my selection was based primarily on filter brand/brand reputation and other online filter reviews/preferences. Perhaps, in addition to the filter properties, I can note that the outer coating of the filter provides a good grip when removing/tightening the filter. However, it works…

Product not as shown

Purolator has changed their filter line and the PureONE filter line is no longer used. Purolator PureONE used to be their top tier filter, but now Purolator One (note the slight name change) is a mid-range product and a new line called Purolator Boss is a top tier product. Part numbers from the old PureONE range have been appended to the new One range, but they are not the same filters. The non-slip outer coating, which used to make it easier to put on, is no longer used in the new version; You
