Couldn't find these PushNut caps anywhere else around

They were great for fixing a wheel that fell off my pressure washer. I was glad to find them at Revain as the local big stores and even the local Ace didn't have them.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Price

I'm glad I bought them.

I am so glad I bought these instead of using old rusty cotter pins or buying new cotter pins.1. The "compression nut caps" not only look better, I think my handcart feels more solid. The low price made this and an easy choice.3. Installation was easy. I just tapped it with a hammer. It's also easy to remove. Just use pliers and twist counter-clockwise. I did this because I decided I needed to grease the axles and remove the wheels. Anyway, this is just my humble opinion. If it helps, great.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

grinding axis!

Very Important - If you are using this on an old axle - which most likely 99% of buyers will be - you will probably need to grind the axle first to remove slag and rust to get it to fit. I suspect for the negative reviews stating it doesn't fit the installer may not have sanded the shaft. Mine didn't fit at first, but after just taking a few minutes to sand it down, it worked great. Grind the shaft, wipe the shaft with some washing-up liquid, put some washing-up liquid on the cap and tap it…

They worked as expected

Had a plain red push cart/wagon with pneumatic wheels. Every time I wanted to use it I had to inflate or top up tires. In the end I was so pissed off when a tire blew out that I decided to swap out the wheels for punctures. We need caps for compression nuts to replace the old ones that broke when removed. I had to lightly sand the rusty shaft, coat the shaft and acorn nut with a light coating of grease to reduce future rust, and then after installing the washers and wheels, tap them onto the…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
