Surprisingly bright! High quality!

I ordered Amber 7443 bulbs for the front indicators on a Honda ST1300 motorcycle. The standard lamps provided only 100 lux with the signal on (HIGH) and 60 lux with no signal (LOW). I connected these LEDs and was amazed by the brightness of 550 lux (HIGH) and 120 lux (LOW). The amber color is rich and makes the signals look really good. Even before I installed them, you could tell the quality of these lamps from the workmanship of the housing. The top is projector-like, so it helps spread the…

The best LEDs on the market! Finally something that works as advertised!

I've been involved with LEDs since they first came out in the early 2000's. I knew it was only a matter of time before they were used in every car. But in 2006, the LEDs for my brake lights just weren't producing the lumens to beat a standard incandescent bulb. And I didn't want to risk being hit from behind! I also spent a lot of money on these bulbs, so I was hesitant to try again. So far! These LEDs give my Supra the instant brake light response of newer high-end cars, and they're brighter…

Putko WIN! This is an LED replacement!

A big fan of these LED blocks. While not DOT approved, they work much better than many other brands. I am very happy with them within the time that I have installed them. Heat isn't an issue yet and the light output is much cleaner than a standard incandescent bulb. The four stars do not refer to the performance, but to the value. Also, I wish they could be DOT approved, but that's not a factor that really bothers me. Installed over a month, very satisfied. The attached photos show a Putco LED…

Great and simple mod for ck sockets

Finally an LED that fills the housing without a "hot spot". Very good quality, great performance day and night. An advice. Some vehicles use sockets labeled "ck" sockets. This basically means that the floor is on one side of the outlet. If you paste this and it doesn't work, try rotating it 180 degrees first. If that still doesn't work and you start blowing fuses, you have a ck-type outlet. You need to bend the pins on the lightbulb into a different configuration. Using a test lamp or…

Works great for lighting and lighting accessories

The units I received are slightly different from the photo but they work very well. In the photo they appear to be metal but they are not. Definitely plastic. They're also pretty light, so they're not likely to fall out of the nest when your car bounces on the road. I've had them in my car for a few months now and both bulbs are still 100% charged. The bulbs look a little cheap in real life, but are not visible after installation. The effect they produce is at least as bright as the original…
