Great product! Significantly cheaper than a GM rear view camera. There were problems with what was sent to me. The next day the seller sent a replacement in the mail. Works great and great picture quality! Update: After a second exchange, the seller was very attentive and professional, the camera stopped working again.

In general, we are in a hurry to install 2011 Silverado on ours. Is plugged into the positive pole of the reversing light for the release cable. The camera quality is paired well with my Pioneer AVH-4200NEX. Works great when the woman needs to use the truck. The only downside of this model compared to the GM version is the lack of a sealed quick release plug.

After getting my first bad camera I was finally able to install a rear view camera from the trunk. Trust me, a new camera was delivered in 2 days, I was able to install it in 4 days, but it worked perfectly! and they got in touch with me and provided the following excellent customer service. Yes, it works with EONON head units.

For the first 7 months (January 2019 to July 2019) this camera has worked pretty well. There were wavy lines on my camera screen. I thought it was weird for a camera. This would be a 4 star rating if it weren't for the issue I'm having right now. Last month (late July) I lost over half the pixels in the camera itself. They're either burned out or somehow water got into the lens. I have contacted the company and am hoping to get my backup camera so I can safely secure my truck and trailer.

Installed this with a new Eonon GA7180A head in my 2007 GMC 1500 Sierra. The camera looks just like the standard GM trunk handle. Not those stupid screw-on license plates. Looks great. Get a great view of the large area behind the truck even at night when reversing and steering. It was easy to install as the frame that comes with it is of good quality and you just have to swap out the lock (if you have one) for a new one that is simply held in place with a snap clip. I used to install a camera that attaches to the license plate and was disappointed that it couldn't capture much behind the truck. It was either too far back or just a foot behind the car, which isn't ideal with kids running around throwing things. The 170 degree camera made me nervous because the license plate version looked very lazy. The image was sharp on my aftermarket monitor/rear view mirror that I already had installed and used the license plate mounted camera which worked fairly well except I didn't have as accurate depth perception as I did with that camera because it was mounted higher of the truck, allowing for a better view ahead, rather than being almost flush with the hitch ball as was the case with my license plate mounted camera.
