Superb quality! There are no problems. But in the end I took the time to count how many strings I got and I only got 99. There were a lot of repeats of the same color. I wish they gave you more white and black or other primary colors, but instead they give you iterations of impractical colors like brown. I use string for friendship bracelets.

This fiber is amazing. For the price they flash much better than DMC. Of course, you don't have the color choices like DMC, but it works really well for simple projects like Christmas decorations and pictures. I will order this again. The fiber is as soft as silk and easy to sew like silk. I'm really amazed at the quality.

I bought this set as I was new to embroidery and wanted a lot. color options. It's great for its price, but you get what you pay for! Some threads get very fuzzy or unravel when you try to thread them, making them difficult to work with at times. Sitting next to DMC floss on a spool you may notice a difference in appearance (not as shiny, smooth or soft). I wouldn't use it for machine washable items but it's great for hoops and stuff like that!

To tell the truth these colors are not bright but the picture is accurate. I needed them because I didn't want bright colors, I wanted muted colors and they are. Just a white and a black but so many pinks, greens and blues that are perfect for mixing colors. There are also many different shades of brown, yellow and gold, but I like to craft Celtic art so it suits me. Just know that you get what you pay for. Brightly seasoned. The strands are numbered, but this is not a DMC numbering system.
