Good Tailgate Fits Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I live in one of the hottest states and among other things they don't last very long. This set lasted me about a year and a half before I had to buy new ones. I'd say it's a pretty good buy and easy to install yourself.

Works perfectly! in Lift Legs

Easy Installation, 5 min. However, note that these types of shocks are most susceptible to catastrophic failure when exposed to extreme heat or extreme cold. I try not to exploit them in such conditions as much as life allows. Good luck, they fit my 2009 Honda CRV EX perfectly. I highly recommend a pair of Vise bars to secure the opposite shock you are replacing to keep the tailgate open during the replacement.

Very good but note when fitting

Works well but as expected requires some effort to close the tailgate due to the strength of the pillars. The old jambs have been removed so I don't know what the normal closing force is. There was some difficulty with installation because one of the connectors on one strut "minimally unscrewed" a few turns, making it too long to fit the locating bolt on the car. It popped up a couple of times until I found the problem and screwed the connector all the way onto the cylinder rod. It's ok, but if
