Expensive but necessary

When you draw with pastels, you always need extra white colored pencils. They come in a set of 3. Easy to use. Maybe too light because they leave a lot of dust and wear out quickly. Very expensive for what they are.

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Works great but understand the stick size

. I was looking for materials to make Brass Grater. I'm not a big artist so I figured they were bigger. When I got them, all I could say was "Duh!" because I should have known better. They are fine for mopping, but because of their size, they don't last very long. The packaging is great - it stays closed and I don't get dusty and they don't break. I'd say they're good for drawing and sketching, but not so good if you're using them for big rubs. They go well with what I used. I was able to pick…

Pros
  • . Great overall specs.
Cons
  • . Doubtful.

Nothing but very expensive chalk

I draw with chalk on the sidewalk. I use many different types and brands of chalk, some are sidewalk chalk, some pastels, and some blackboard chalk. Sidewalk chalk is used primarily as a primer and I rely heavily on pastels for my detail and shading via sidewalk chalk and have a lot of experience with soft pastels. I am constantly on the lookout for white chalk as there is never enough for my chalk drawing. I bought this in the hope that it would be more compact than soft pastels and of better…

Pros
  • Weight

  • A few little things

Not for drawing sharp or thin lines. Use a pencil instead.

So. That's it. Therefore I give 4 stars. There is nothing wrong with the product. Delivered normally, pulls well, soft. But. It didn't quite fit the purpose I wanted it for and I've since bought several different pencils that give me the results I want. I started painting so I would have an idea of where I was painting before the paint hit the canvas. So basically I wanted to sketch on a prepared canvas. In theory, it works because it's chalk. You can get THICK lines from it, and they're easy…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
