Updated: Worry about durability. . .

Updated 4/28/29. I originally vouched for these wheels after being in a high speed crash last year. The frontal time, which took the brunt of the impact, survived without a single scratch. I didn't ride the bikes anymore but I was surprised they survived. Then I got two more sets. One was ordered here from Revain, the other from a company in Florida. Delamination less than a year

Today I received the wheels, mounted the Conti, mounted pads and wheels, set the gears and in the morning I'll be ready to go. I put the wheels on a straightener and they were almost perfect. The only difference from my 37 mil alloy wheels was road damping and maybe a small change under acceleration. I believe they will make a difference on longer trips. I only rode 46 miles…

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • Requires bushing

Incredibly good offer. Previously

10/26/19 Update - 1300 miles - I have switched my indoor riding to the Smart Trainer but have put over 1300 miles on these bikes to date. with zero problems. They are still ok, the bearings turn well, the hub still works, the braking surfaces are ok. I cannot recommend these wheels enough. Hopefully next season will continue! They are as good or better than any other wheelset I have ridden in the last 30 years of road cycling. I've made some very hard stops on them and the braking surfaces…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
