I don't have a boat, it's perfect for my purposes.

I don't have a boat but it suits my purpose perfectly. I use it to apply to the hanger and branches that I hang my hummingbird feeder on. It won't wash off or melt, and the ants won't get into the hummingbird feeder with the sugar solution. Works great - no more dead ants rotting my sugar solution.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Security

Great for marine use in everything else.

This grease is really good for screw gears where it does an excellent job. I removed my brace for the first time in 10 years and the grease was still intact and the wedges were fully covered. I've found myself using it for just about anything that needs a good lube and it works great. Note that be sure to use rubber gloves as this material is BEAR to get away.

Pros
  • Excellent all round performance
Cons
  • Vanish

Good stuff in the engine wash

Good lubrication. I replaced my water impeller and used it on the bottom block slots and the strut spline. Works well and a tube basically lasts a lifetime (at least for a handyman like me). A word of caution: this thing is like a silver antiseptic. I mean as soon as you open the tube you are instantly covered from head to toe. But nobody said it would be a clean job.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Ideal for greasing prop shaft splines to prevent slippage

On my F350, the prop shaft slipped where the spline stays connected and then disengages when the front brakes are released, creating a thud when exiting a brake light. I read on the forums that this is one of the best lubes, so I used it (and I also have a boat that I will put on the drive shaft as well). Many people have said that the problem will return with time, especially with use. Ford recommended Teflon lube but I can tell you that with Quicksilver lube the problem has gone and now about

We're Going Skyward

I love the bottle it comes in. Grease green. Consistency like hot glue. Pretty thick. I think the correct term is viscosity. The viscosity is similar to that of hot glue. Here it is better. I think the application I'm using it for is a little behind the times. I don't follow the trend. I do my thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. But let's think about my decision and why I made it. Biology. dragonflies. Just wait, I swear I'm right. The dragonfly is born in water. larvae. But, you know…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Nothing
