Great value for money: Coils

Installed on my 2001 330ci after the bremi failed on cylinder 2 after 181k Changed all 6 so far and the car runs so nice and smooth. By the way, this is a good opportunity to change the spark plugs and valve cover gasket at this time.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Reliability

The BMW E46 fits perfectly. Now works like a bat. er Compton

Had to wait an extra month for Bosch coils due to budget. First the cooler was replaced. There were two bad coils that have all been replaced and I think Mister Bosch will have to wait for some time. So far it works great for 1000 km. Cute!

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Quality next to OEM

The goods arrived on time. It looked like it was well done. I installed it on my 2000 BMW e46 and it ran smoother as I feel the old 6/99 coils are getting weak. Ben is a month old now and I drive the car about 100-200 miles a day and the engine codes are not failing due to misfiring which would happen with a poorly done coil.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great quality at 1/6 price

I had them on my 1999 528i for about 2 months or about $2000 and they work great. I also had 220,000 miles when I put the coil packs on and now the car runs like a champ. They are a lot cheaper than recommended by BMW and/or branded coils but I haven't had any problems with them so far.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not the best

Didn't fit bmw 330ci 2001

Can't rate performance as they don't fit. I have a 2001 BMW 330ci. The body on the reel is too big for mating connections in the car. When compared to the Bosch coil I was trying to replace, you can see the difference in width. I hope this saves someone from ordering this part and saves them having to return it and wait for a replacement.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • ---

Complete bullshit I tell you. Spend $ on Bosch

They are bullshit. I had dropouts and still wanted to do the tuning. I concluded that not installing them was actually quite difficult, but taking them out again when they didn't work. And unfortunately I pre-ordered them. Take a piece or two at a time. This means that my return window has long since expired. Well I was wondering why all 6 are cheaper than 1 Bosch.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Upgradeable

DO NOT BUY! Cylinder misfire

DO NOT BUY. learn from my mistake. I went cheap and got them. With those I changed there were no problems, mileage is 100,000 km. No codes are thrown from them at all. I replaced them with these and the four cylinders fire right out of the gate. It literally sounded like a brick in a dryer. Have the machine switched off as soon as possible so as not to interrupt the line. The whole engine jumped, idle went everywhere. I put my old BMW coils back in and everything worked perfectly. Do not buy!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Operating speed

Save yourself the headache, buy OEM

TLDR: Used these instead of OEM, spent time and money looking for a problem these coils are causing. I have a 1998 528i. I love my car and do most of the work myself. In December I bought and installed a set of these coils. Installation was very easy and if you just change the coils it takes less than 20 minutes. I did coils and spark plugs so it took about 45 minutes and everything was great. Fast forward 2 weeks ago when I replaced my stock 120 amp alternator with an upgraded, original 140…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Hard to tell
