I thought it was cool. Until it broke. I was ready to throw it away but then I saw it had a 10 year guarantee, customer service was fantastic they sent me a new one. I had to take a picture of the old one, no big deal, and email them the photos. They were quick and polite. What else could I ask. I've read that the newer synthetic corkscrews are harder for corkscrews, don't know if that was the problem. But as long as this new one works, I'm happy.

I really appreciate the rabbit opener and am giving it away. The downside is that they are not very durable. My last one who just stopped opening bottles was 2 years old. I admit that he opened many bottles of wine. Suddenly it just stops. The corkscrew goes in and out, leaving the cork in place. I changed the insert they send two and still won't open. I replace it completely and open perfectly. Great product, just wish it had lasted a little longer.

Terrible, we use it regularly, maybe open two or three bottles of wine a week. Purchased on 04/01/2015. After opening the bottle on 01/19/16 the plastic piece holding the corkscrew in place broke rendering the item unusable. Although the return was only possible until May 2015, it seems ridiculous that it broke after only 10 months. It was $30 from Revain, although the retailer had a lot more. We bought this to replace an old rabbit that had an uncomfortable stickiness to the handle that we couldn't get rid of and it's nowhere near as good like our original. Often the corkscrew inside doesn't "stick" to the cork properly and either pulls straight out, leaving the cork in the bottle with a hole in the middle; or it pops the cork, making a mess and forcing us to strain the wine afterwards to keep it from spoiling. Bought in 2/2021. Our old hand was worn out, so we kept the same model because we really liked it. Bad move. The screw on the new one goes in, but instead of staying stable, the screw just disengages from the cork when you pull the handle up. Pretty disappointed with this product. First of all, the foil cutter leaves a lot to be desired. The design of the blades folded at the top does not seem suitable for cutting most bottles. We have 2 other foil cutters from other products we have tried that work much better. Second, while the cork is screwed in cleanly and smoothly. place without movement. This also applies to bottles where the real wood cork is very tight. Overall I wouldn't recommend it. Only seems to work well 25% of the time

I have bought 3 of these over the span of a dozen years. The first two worked fine until they got old and broken. The third one I bought just a few months ago after the second one broke is a real POS. This thing has so much internal friction that it needs Godzilla's power to function. It basically doesn't work.
