I was hoping to try an anti-escape harness but found that nothing quite matched it. Our cat was outside, startled, jumped in the air, and somehow twisted and untangled from a properly fitted harness. Then we had a hunt for that damn kitten - which is exactly what I wanted to avoid as last year we lost another kitten who was hit on the street. Our cats stay at home now!

I did not like this harness. It was fine for walking our cat and training the harness, but the material is too thick for a cat and the neck area is too wide and stiff. No matter which of our cats I tried on, the necks were too wide (from chin to chest) for them to be comfortable. We use it from time to time when we can't find any of the others but only one cat can stand it. I am giving it to my friend for her little dog to try.

Well made strap. size is everything. Make sure the neck circumference is smaller than your cat's skull. Personally, I trained indoors with a looser harness just to get used to it, then switched to it when we were ready to head outside. He seems very comfortable in it, he doesn't try to take it off. I swapped the leash for another because I'm a restless person and don't trust him. It didn't look as good as the trailer itself.

I chose this harness because my cat has three legs and the chest strap doesn't fit her. I'm a very caring pet owner so I needed to make sure this harness would fit and be secure. The leash seemed to naturally shift to her right side, where her missing leg should have allowed her left leg to move more freely. In the end, after a few tantrums, even when I started using a harness, my cat seemed very comfortable in this harness. I'm happy!

Excellent quality. Fits my 4# kitten, has room to grow. The belt is a little tricky to attach as the velcro and clips are on the bottom instead of the top. Since there is no strap between the front legs, the suspension tends to roll sideways. The neck is like a hose, which I find a bit limiting especially in the heat. Overall, this is a very well made suspension and fairly reliable. I like that the armholes are big, which gives more freedom of movement.

Due to the extra lace (with logo) on one side, this harness only tilts to the side when my cat walks. This restricts their freedom of movement somewhat. This trailer would be very good if not for this part. Another problem is clamps. They don't like to have their hair cut. If you try to just glue them together like other clips of the same type, they don't snap easily. You have to press them against each other quickly and forcefully, which doesn't please the cat at all. My cat is a choker, by the standards it should fit well and maybe we could go out and do some new exercises to help him lose weight.
