Very heavy, suitable for parts and components

I expected better material from Raceface, this chainring is very heavy. For maybe 10€ more you can get better quality from other brands. i give it back

  • Easy assembly

Surprisingly more effective than round stars.

Not critical but perhaps a 5-10% improvement in overall power transfer over my previous round chainring. I use the second for my hardtail.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • There are new competitors

No product description

No product description. Raceface told me that this oval chainring will NOT work with a Shimano 12 speed chain. I prefer not to mix a Shimano XTR drivetrain with a SRAM chain.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Great improvement for climbing steep hills

Arrived quickly and lives up to all the oval star promises. Mount this on your Trek Fuel EX 5. It's easier to get uphill. Now I'm running out of gears on the flats so I have to shift up to 12 gears.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about this, everything is fine

Efficient pedaling product

I used to have a 30 tooth raceface oval chainring and I'm really very happy and I decided to buy this 28 tooth chainring for less pedaling power as it has very steep hills for Enduro rides are where I live. Raceface products are the best, love them.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances

Thin but worth it!

Of course the difference is small. I hope you find the image useful. This is an oval superimposed on a round ring in the same number of teeth. Where you'll notice the difference is when climbing. You're either climbing a section that you previously struggled with, or you find that you used to feel more tired after certain climbs. Definitely recommend getting on the oval train. Do that!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Insecure
