So this is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a rivet that didn't require metal water or a surface to work with. I used this on a jacket and 3D printed it as an experiment and it worked the way I wanted it to. Most will definitely buy again. It's also fun to use.

The rivet body fits the 3/16" hole perfectly, but the mandrel that sticks out at the end is much larger and will not fit through the pre-drilled holes. . I had to re-drill all my work one size up to get it in. This gave me more hole area than I needed, which wasn't to my liking. It took me a lot of time because of the design of the project. Otherwise it would be great.
