Pretty but not worth the money

Looks very nice but the steering wheel is difficult to fit - it was misplaced and not tightened. I finally found out I was wrong and there is a small piece of white metal that is aligned up front so the steering wheel can only turn so much. should point this out in the instructions, but they don't. It creaks a lot, the rear wheel wobbles when driving. Prob will return this tricycle. Not worth the money. My daughter almost knocked it over and she is almost 4 years old. Just not happy with the…

Glad I did it at Cycling

I saw a lot of bad reviews about this trike but decided to give it a try anyway. I'm glad I did. There have been complaints of rough edges that could cut. All the edges of the tricycle I bought were beautifully smooth and varnished. There are no sharp edges at all. Bent metal parts were also objected to. I had no problems with that either. It appears to be a quality trike that my granddaughter will enjoy for years to come. He's still too big for her. She just turned two and smaller, but she…

Seems built to last

I was looking at another popular trike that I really liked the design of, but a lot of reviews complained about the pedals falling off (well 😒). I didn't want a bulky tricycle or too light for my 2.5 year old son and bought this one. Assembly is easy. You need a key that is not included. The frame is made of metal. The wings and the seat are made of plastic. I'm not sure how well the wings will hold up because it looks like they could easily break or get scratched. Although the seat is tight…

Nice but problems. best kids bikes and accessories

We ordered pink but got red (the box clearly said red but the stock label was misidentified as pink as we wanted red but it wasn't in stock). There is no plastic ring between the steering wheel and the frame. The clamp bolt that holds the handlebars didn't have a bolt head (was just smooth/round and couldn't be tightened). Collected, but the rear wheel is crooked and creaks a bit terribly. I'm trying to figure it out without contacting support. I had to deal with Radio Flyer customer service…

Nice tricycle but be sure to oil it and watch it tip over

I understand the mixed reviews on this tricycle. Overall a good trike. But assembly was a nightmare because we couldn't attach the handlebars to the main frame tight enough with the tools we had. When we went to the store and bought the right size hex wrench, we were finally able to tighten it properly. Then the beeping started. I'm pretty sure our whole neighborhood could hear us driving by because the tricycle was creaking so loud. I was hesitant to use WD-40 because of all the chemicals, so…

My 3 year old loves it

My 3 year old son loves this Radio Flyer trike. He drives it every day and never seems to get tired. He has had other tricycles but this is by far his favorite. It arrived boxed with no disappointments so there was no extra box, foam, zip ties etc to deal with. Assembly took about half an hour and was easy to do. It has a solid steel frame and durable rubber tires that we expect will last. The adjustable seat has two settings that are currently at their lowest height so it will grow with them…
