💻 Enhance Your Laptop Setup with the Rain Design mBar Laptop Stand - Silver Review

This is the best laptop stand! I've tried 3 different stands and this is by far the best. That's a lot better than the more expensive Twelve South grandstands. Rain Design's other coasters are great and I love the portability and minimalist design of this coaster. I can type on the keyboard with the stand and there's no bouncing. I highly recommend this product. High quality and so easy to use.

I got this for my 15.4" MacBook Pro and it couldn't be better. It raises my MBP by 3.5" in the back and 0 in the front, 5" on. It's rock solid (even the hinges) with no wobbling/jumping. Silicone bumpers on the bottom and full length silicone strips on the bars where the laptop sits. The 2 bars holding the laptop from the front don't protrude. since i already have a large rain design mstand on my desk and wanted the lightest and most compact travel version it comes with a beautiful microfiber…

This thing is so well designed and well made I can't think of how they could improve it. The great thing is that unlike regular stands that flex, this stand supports the laptop directly under the front so you can type and use your laptop normally and it stays supported - no bouncing or moving. The only downside is that the legs at the front prevent you from moving things like an unused external keyboard under the stand. If you really need it this won't work for you, but if that's not a factor…

Really good. It is lightweight, durable and folds very compactly. I used to put mStand in my bag with all my stuff and it was a lot easier. The height is exactly the same as mStand. It's actually stiffer due to the supports near the front of the laptop, which mStand doesn't have. I love the "click" of the hands when you extend or close them... nice touch.

Lightweight, compact when folded, strong and works as intended. I use it at my desk and on the rare occasions when I commute to work elsewhere. It easily fits in my computer bag with very little bulk or weight and a much better angle for my camera and typing. Today I got up and decided to use it. It wasn't a big angle in normal orientation. So I flipped it and it's a great viewing and typing angle! A little pricey but worth it if you work (or play) on your laptop all day.

Not sure why this hasn't been rated yet. I only received it today, but so far I am satisfied. No it doesn't adjust the height but there are height options to choose from and if you have any idea what height you need I don't know if it needs to be adjustable. I have the highest version of this kickstand - Pro+. I also checked out the Roost stand but I think it's overpriced at $75. It looks cheap and I don't like black plastic or black items in general and will always go for a lighter color since

I go to Asia on long business trips every 34 months and I'm used to using my 15.4 inch MBP at home and at work on a Having a stand and decided I needed a lightweight, portable stand that I can take with me on the go. I got a kickstand from a manufacturer called GoKing and it was good but not strong enough for typing on the laptop as it tended to tilt to one side or the other. I passed this on to my son who has a 13.3 inch MBP and was looking for a different solution. I saw an article about mBar

Bought this for my wife to use with her 13 inch Mac Powerbook, they tend to get hot. She uses it all the time at her desk or when she uses a laptop at her desk. I really like the simple design and it even matches the color of your laptop. My Thunderbolt 3 fan stand is not as easy to move as all fans. really collects dust. I will be getting the mBar Rain Design as soon as I can get my current laptop stand to stop working.
