Terrible and fake for vacuums and floor care

Ruined my rainbow. fake. They don't stretch like the original, too tight and ruined my part. Didn't fix it. Fixing Rainbows is expensive. I've had mine since 1986. Very upset.

Pros
  • Stock
Cons
  • No form required

Cheap imitation vacuum cleaner and floor care

These belts are "fit for the rainbow" not Rainbow brand as shown in the pictures. I wasn't expecting much for the price but decided to give them a try. The belt lasted less than a minute before it snapped and my apartment smelled like burnt rubber.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Expensive

Rainbow happy again

I was glad I bought this product for my Rainbow vacuum cleaner. It was a perfect fit and now my wife doesn't scold me for fixing it. I kept putting off repairs because I couldn't find it at my local store. Not only did I find this at Revain for a very, very reasonable price, I also got 2 extras. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Cons

Works, but very slowly.

I had to work hard to get one of these straps on my Rainbow Beater. The new belt appears to be significantly smaller than the one on the tire but of course the old one had stretched and hardened and snapped to the point where it no longer rotated with the driveshaft and started giving off that burnt smell of friction. After installing the new belt everything worked fine.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Good but not great

Surprisingly good! for vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

These are not original belts but they work great. In fact I think they last longer than the original belts, probably because they aren't as thick and therefore don't have as much internal friction as they flex around the motor shaft. I ordered them a while ago and I'm still using the first strap. An added benefit of their thinness is that I can fit the other two into the spare belt slot on the drive head.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • For pensioners

Works for what they are! Branded item

Advantages: Brand name as described. Fits perfectly as advertised for my rainbow (E2 series). Disadvantages: none. Thoughts: We finally burned the first two on our rainbow after 20 years (probably held on to them for too long). The second literally burned through and stank throughout the house. After we installed one of them, I realized how bad the others had gotten. The rainbow is now almost new.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

My vacuum cleaner is now working like new

I was frustrated after realizing that my vacuum cleaner had stopped working. I thought it was clogged until I took apart the power jet and found that belt had snapped. I did a little research, found this belt and ordered it. The strap was easy to put on and fit my Rainbow vacuum which I have had since 1988. I never changed the belt on this one, so I can say I've used the original belt well. Now my vacuum cleaner works like new and I have extra belts in case that one breaks too.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
