Installed on a 2004 Wrangler Sahara

A bit soft for me, especially as the ones I ordered for the front seem perfect. They were easy to put on and seem to be wearing well.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Not the best for my Jeep!

Really mediocre beats. I was led to believe this would be an upgrade from my 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, but it wasn't. I am very disappointed and the effort was not negligible. If you have a jeep, maybe choose something really heavy.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Lots of things

Rubber boot problems

why 3 stars: rubber boot problems. Rancho shipped this shock with the stem pins already installed, which made installing the rubber boot nearly impossible. I ended up cutting out the steering pins and attaching the rod splitters to my jeep. I won't buy them again.

Pros
  • dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • safety

GOOD SHOCK FOR THE PRICE

Great shock for the price. Works well on Jeep Wrangle. This front shock absorber is easy to adapt to the trunk. I also believe that the manufacturer should install the case at the factory, and if the consumer decides to install it without the case, they can cut it off. Supplied with all necessary equipment.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Great shocks for my Jeep Wrangler

Installed them on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler (230,000 miles, works great). The fit was perfect and the ride quality has greatly improved. I cannot say enough about the quality of this product. Don't pay a dealer or body shop to replace your shock absorbers...it only takes a few hours at most.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Repair

Great value, rack mounting is a pain

Bought for the back of my 2005 Wrangler Sport. The old ones came out fine the night before they were removed with a small liquid key. Please note that the passenger side is more difficult due to the proximity of the exhaust pipe and fuel tank. I recommend preparing several socket extensions of different lengths. It was a simple setup right out of the box. The only other things to note are that these shocks aren't preloaded so they don't stretch when they're not in place, and they don't requireโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Embarrassing
