Great Value - Shocks

The Rancho shock was easy to install on my 2002 F350 Super Duty. Improved driving performance, stops and turns the truck.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some flaws

EZ setup and have a good trip

EZ setup although direction would be nice. Do not cut your tie until it is on the top and bottom rivets. Improved driving comfort and no deterioration in drivability.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Modernity

Easy to install and they fit my truck really well. They are durable and have a great build quality, I really like them and hope they last.

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons

Part of my order was the wrong item.

When I got this I didn't realize it was a mistake and installed both shock absorbers. One went fine, the other took a few hours, and I finally realized that Revane had sent me one for the front and one for the back instead of two for the front. As I tapped it to fit I will not be returning it it will be a spare should I need one in the back if I can take it off.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Disappear

Poor shock absorber for street use

They ride like any other gas shock absorber. very bad, the truck jumps on bumps, like on train tracks. or normal small imperfections. the truck jerks across the road. must return the ranch 5000 now there is no x. cross country runs. because it is a normal water hammer. but now looking for a replacement because it has worn out, not sure if they even make standard hydraulics. I want the charged gas phase to happen. Not everyone benefits from walking Baja to and from work every day. or tow RVs up…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Quality
