The handles are amazing. Pliers can neatly cut the braided line. The angle really helps see the light weight of the hook position and comes with a belt holster

I have used these tongs a number of times and they work as expected. I like the offset angle so I can see what I'm doing when I take the hook out of the fish's throat. I highly recommend these pliers.

These things are so strong. As long as the fish is big enough (ie the pliers will fit in its mouth) this hook will ALWAYS come out with these pliers. I've used it 10 times and only bled once but it was his own damn fault :( I've even used them for various purposes on my mountain bike. They fit in my very small single layer plano tackle box and they are beautiful lightweight The pincer part has a nice engineered grip and the line cutting part that's closer to the handle can probably cut any line

I used these on a fishing trip and they did a great job removing 7/0 hooks from big catfish. Easy to remove from the sheath with one hand. I would buy again.
