Great Heatsinks for Raspberry Pi

My Raspberry Pi 4 got a little hot and I needed to cool them down. They are good quality and already have a thermal backing so just stick them on and you're done. Different sizes for different needs and the price is really good compared to others. You can use them individually, but if you really want to cool your Pi, combine them with a fan (30mm or 40mm) and you should be able to drop the temperature by at least 15-20C.

Good Heatsinks: Computers and Accessories

They help cool a little, of course they're not miracle workers, but they help dissipate heat a little better. I used them not only on my RPis but also on the voltage regulators of my (EVGA) GTX970. These GPUs are known to have no voltage regulator cooling whatsoever, which is why they often fail with VR off due to overheating.

They work fans and cooling

These little heatsinks dissipate heat in an incredible way. I can't think of any other heatsink with such precise dimensions that dissipates more heat than this heatsink. So if you need to get heat out of your Raspberry PI chips or similar sized chips that are getting hot, they should work just fine.

Great for all generations of Raspberry Pi

I own all versions of the Raspberry Pi, from the original to the latest Pi 4 (plus the Zero and Pico boards). These heatsinks are great for various Raspberry Pi chips. There are 4 different sizes: large square, large rectangle, small square and flat squares (sorry I don't have exact sizes). These are great for the different sized chips on the Pi 4. The copper colored flat squares go on the bottom of the Pi 2 to cover the memory chip. The adhesive adheres well and shows no signs of detachment.

Virtually no difference

I am an IT professional with 30 years of experience. I am very familiar with radiators, their installation and use. They really don't do much. Yes, they "fit" the chips perfectly as they are the right size, the stickiness seems good, but the actual heat dissipation is close to 0. Before installation, my raspberry pi's average temperature was 50C, after installation 49.5 Β° C Seriously. I bought a nice Pi case that works like a large built-in heatsink and removed those. Working but parts missing

They work as expected but I was missing 4 of the 6 copper 1mm spacers (only 2 in my pack), the rest of the parts were included. Luckily I don't really need the 1mm spacers anyway (I bought them for other finned heatsinks). However, I expect to get what was advertised. Because they're tiny, they won't do much without air movement. It's not the heatsink's fault, but if you expect significant temperature differences, you'll need something to move some air, too.
