Sticky threads

The stands work as expected, although some threads appear to be misaligned, rendering some of them unusable without forcibly tightening the nuts. My main problem came when I found out the hard way that the case didn't reseal and everything fell apart on the floor. If you get further with this, make sure you use some tape to keep it closed.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Something different

Absolute Garbage fits striving and striving

M2.5 hardware is expensive and you get what you pay for with this stuff. All bolts have burrs and small bits of plastic from the injection molding process that prevent them from threading properly into nuts or bolts. Probably only one out of five extracted pieces was usable. The threads are also crooked, which means that nothing is screwed in straight. Don't buy them. Save money and buy another brand or treat yourself to brass shelves.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • No Instructions

Very useful, good quality

I didn't see the quality issues that some others mention. There is no excess plastic in the molding process. If I tighten them properly, e.g. B. with pliers while I'm holding the nut but tightening the locking pin, they haven't come loose yet. I use them to hold the three corners of a TFT-LCD over an Arduino board. The height should match the headings near the 4th corner. I just wish I could find a way to order more in the sizes I use most (specifically the 11mm between men and women).

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Updates

Find what you are looking for somewhere else. Believe me.

Very, very bad. I have a robotics project and thought I would use these to hold my modules. Nuts slip off bolts. If you hold one of the stands and pull out a fully threaded nut, you can usually pull it out. I had to order a whole new set because of the miserable quality. This is especially frustrating because it's not really worth returning such cheap items because most likely you'll only get around $4 back, so don't try and think you can return it if it sucks.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Fair

Very inconsistent tolerances and some unusable parts.

I bought this nylon bracket kit for a new Raspberry Pi car project. The first thing that struck me about this set was the mismatch in thread tolerances. Some parts were easy to screw into other parts, while others made it almost impossible to safely cut the threaded post. In some cases, simply replacing one rack with another solved the problem, but some parts were simply unusable due to threading issues. Next time I might skip the nylon parts and just buy good quality brass posts.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Exchange available

Essential for Raspberry Pi builds

Lots of nylon stands and nylon screws of different lengths is a godsend for my Raspberry Pi builds! I've read (but not confirmed experimentally) that metal racks next to a WiFi chip in 3B, 3B+, or 4B can affect WiFi signal strength; Nylon frames avoid this risk. The ability to cut screws with scissors instead of a Dremel tool is another great benefit of nylon. Last but not least, when I need to combine a little more to balance the surfaces of two nylon posts for an aesthetically pleasing…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some issues

Lots of bad moldings

This is a cheap way to get non-metallic racks for Raspberry Pi, but there are two problems: interfere with proper threading. This led to a lot of frustration trying to assemble the racks.2. For connecting boards that connect to the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin GPIO header, the 11mm spacing is really the only usable size and there aren't many in this kit. In some cases I've also found that some Pi Zero hats need about 9mm of clearance underneath them for stability, but that size isn't included in this…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
