I used these as an end hook on a 1/4" bungee cord to attach a flower box to my 1x6" balcony railing. bright . just cut the cord at right angles (I cut with hot rope scissors, bad smell) put the collar around the cord, put the cord in the hook, put the yoke back on the hook with pliers.
