Great parts update

I used these to convert a 4runner to larger tundra rotors. The calipers looked good and worked great, just tested at Tioga Pass and had no issues.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Works well but rusts very quickly

Definitely wish I'd painted them. They are very rusty after 2 months of use. But it still works fine. Used to level up the tundra on my 3rd gen 4runner. Recommended for the price

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Some problems

This caliper was a perfect fit for my 2007 FJ Cruiser

This caliper was a perfect fit for my 2007 FJ Cruiser. Everything arrived in perfect condition and passed without any problems. I would like it to be coated with a rust preventative as it has already shown some oxidation.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

To enlarge the Tundra brakes. 16 months later it still works great. The only downside some may have is that they have a lot of surface rust. Nothing deep or flaky. If you don't like the look of rust on the surface, consider painting it with quality paint before installation.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hardware

A good choice for an upgrade.

This was one of the components I chose to upgrade my original 2000 Tundra front brake system. The calipers install directly into their original locations with minor modifications to the dust shields. I was also able to reuse existing brake lines with just a few simple bends to fit the new fittings. The brakes work much more efficiently with these large calipers.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Almost turnkey replacement

This is the easiest way to fix frozen calipers - and at a much lower cost than most other shops - again without a huge fee. I don't recall seeing anything in this range at RockAuto as one commenter said - if they cost $50 there they were NOT exact high quality replacement parts but a Chinese "customized" piece of crap. They are OEM refurbished and made right. [EDIT] Okay, I checked out Rockauto and it's about $107 with a core - plus your time plus postage. Is it really worth it? not for me

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • For old

Looked new in calipers without pads

While I wasn't overly impressed with the packaging material in the box, I have to say this caliper looked brand new. Every nut and bolt looked new and replaced, and the casting had absolutely no sign of a rebuild. I just put it on last night and rode about 10 miles with a couple of quick and hard stops. While it seems to behave. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the air outlet (8m) which was small. But I liked that the bleed screw was longer, above the caliper body, which madeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • glitter
Cons
  • having problems
