I still love them but I was expecting stainless steel rods since I lost my original pair. Unfortunately no stainless steel. I have to read the product description further because it mentions the silver color of the stainless steel. That means it looks like it, but it's not steel.

I am good with chopsticks, I have traveled in Asia and used them regularly but could not use them effectively. Chopsticks are too heavy and slippery for a good grip. They're a lot easier to clean than wood, but I've already given up using them with Asian food and use my hands instead.

These chopsticks are cheap and work as they should. They are well made and very smooth. As an avid chopstick user, I have no problem with them and they seem easy to use. I prefer metal chopsticks for their durability and ease of cleaning, but if you're not used to handling chopsticks, this might be an improvement over wooden chopsticks. These are great chopsticks! They are hollow metal, not 100% what metal, it doesn't say on the box. But it smelled like some kind of steel when I washed them for the first time (this smell goes away, just wash them very well before using them). The design is beautiful, the chopsticks are not heavy and uncomfortable, and the engraved food grab strips are very convenient!
