The hub works well, with one major caveat.

This hub is well built and compact. All ports work well (USB, Ethernet and Power Delivery). The only problem is that the USB port is unusable next to the HDMI port as there is not enough space for a USB drive when using the HDMI port. My USB stick should be plugged in next to the PD port. Everything works fine in this configuration; a USB port is lost. The ports could be spaced a bit further apart by slightly increasing the length of the hub. It will still be fairly compact.

Why did we switch to USB-C?

Honestly, it didn't work. I bought two. They worked for about a day, then I moved, and now - phew - completely useless. I can connect a keyboard and mouse to it. The Ethernet and HDMI ports are completely useless. I am so disappointed.
