Disappointing Tow Bracket for Automotive Use

After I put it to the test, I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with this tow bracket. It claims to have a large mounting capacity, but it just couldn't handle the weight of my trailer. The foldable feature is convenient for storage, but it's not worth sacrificing safety on the road. The quality of this product is simply not up to par, and I would not recommend it for anyone who takes towing seriously.

Rusty, the pivot hole is crooked. Many lack the power coating, bare steel is covered in rust

Where do I begin. When you open the package, it is rusty. Rust on plastic at the point of contact with the object. The inside of the pipe where it slides into the coupler is covered in rust. If you live in a humid place, it will quickly rust from the inside out. Worst of all, the clutch pin isn't drilled straight. What a nightmare, if you stick a pin in it, it won't go through. I had to drill a bigger hole for the clutch pin to make it work. I wouldn't recommend it, with all the work required…

Off Center Hole - Modification Required

The hole for the clutch pin was drilled far off center on one side. On the other hand, he wasn't in the center either, but close enough. The off-center hole didn't line up with one of the hitches I had it plugged into, so I couldn't get the 5/8" hitch pin through the off-center hole. However, this winch mount came with a clutch pin. and I was able to put this pin in the off-center hole. Do you want to know why? Because the clutch pin was smaller. All about cheap shit, folks. Better to buy…
