Non-existent warranty - broke after a few months

I am a home inspector and use this tool many times a day. This went on for about 3 months and then the grounding plug got stuck in the case and the other pins came loose. I have contacted Klein with a warranty claim for a refund or replacement but they still have not responded to me after 2 months. The warranty must be 1 year. Many Klein products are good, but over the past few years I've seen more and more complaints about Klein tools and this is another one of them. Despite being a great…

This product is dangerous.

This product does not provide reliable testing, especially outdoors. It uses neon light bulbs that draw almost no current. I just tested an outlet that I knew had an open ground and the tester showed good ground. But when I test with a hot bottom 15 watt bulb, nothing. It's an electrical engineering snag that we all know that in order to reliably test a circuit, you have to have some load on it. This tester doesn't stress the circuit and can show you have a good ground if it's missing. I'm…

Great for apartments, "Site Wiring Fault " on APC products

I made this to find out why all my APC backup batteries and splitters keep showing a site wiring fault. Of course as I live in an apartment I asked the maintenance crew to take a look and they said there was no problem. Enter this device. I checked all my outlets and they all showed open ground. I turned off the power, unplugged the outlets, and connected all the ground wires. I asked our repair team to check the outlets again. After showing them that there was open ground, it was discovered…

The wires in my house seem fine

My house was too well wired to see more than two "OK" lights on each outlet. I can't give you good lighting combinations to protect my house from fire. So why write a review? Do not press the GFCI button or you will trigger a Carrington event. You'll think you pressed reset on the little button on the socket, but it blew your mind the whole train. Your coffee maker is going crazy and you don't get coffee in the morning, your alarm clock will ring at home if the backup battery dies sometime in…

A must for homeowners and electricians.

A MUST HAVE for homeowners, electricians, a definite time saver! See first picture. Like other non-contact voltage detectors. I am an experienced industrial electrician with over 20 years of know-how. I've always had problems with electricity at home. After unplugging the light fixtures and checking the wiring, this handy circuit tester arrived. I started checking the outlets and found an intermittently faulty external outlet with a bad intermittent neutral connection. Without this tool I would
