There is a bump in the head band that doesn't let the pivoting lamp to be aimed lower.If you active it the sensor, anything that moves in front or the sensor (doesn't have to be close to it ) can on or off the light way to easy. If your involved in Search and Rescue, or you start early hikes in the dark or are coming back in the from a hike stay away from this light.This headlamp goes dead after about an hour half to 2 hrs and leaves you in the dark. the light bit in front is static and does not flex to the shape of your head. it is uncomfortable. blindingly bright for those around you but does not blind the wearer.

I use headlights like these a lot because I work graveyard eventually the battery goes wheat because of the amount of time that I use it but if you don't use a consistently then you have nothing to worry about

It’s very bright. The selection is great from different modes. One thing that I don’t like is the motion detector because as electrician, I actually put a piece of tape over the motion so it won’t go off and on in cramped spaces. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.

Unit has plenty of light and love the focus beam option. The not so good is the motion switch option. It's a neat little clever switch but I found the unit shutting off when used in tight areas because the beam gets blocked. Luckily you can use the other switch instead. Also it's a little bulky with the battery pack hanging on the side.

This headlamp has a hard case that is curved. Needless to say.everyone's forehead curvature is different. So, I think the curved hard case is more effective for creating a fan-shaped flood light, rather than fitting people's foreheads. Loved the light! Didn’t use the motion control too much cause I didn’t get it down. Lights up what I was looking at when fishing but died after 6 hrs. I had it in max setting so it was a good life for the price. Would def buy another one!
