Great colors but thin like cotton crochet yarn

Received today. Like the colors but it's really subtle, more like a menace crocheted cotton. I didn't pay attention to the number of stitches, just the footage. I bought three in different colors and thought I could return them and order a different yarn. After thinking about it I can just use it and see what happens. I really like the colors I received and want to see what I can do with them. It's really soft and the colors I got are bright and saturated. This is a good product, I just didn't…

Thinner than expected

The product itself is great, but shopping online makes it difficult to understand everything about it a product . It was one of those moments, this yarn is definitely a lightweight toe/sock yarn. I bought it for a cloth that suggested using 4.0mm/US6 needles and ended up using 2.75mm/US3 needles. I make socks with 2.25mm/US1 or 2.75mm/US2 needles, but if I were to make socks from them I would have to use 2.0mm/US0 or less. the average yarn count for fingers and sock, but I didn't count…

Pros
  • Gauge: 30 sts, 40 rows = 4 inches, gauge 2.75mm, US 2 needles
Cons
  • Not as thick as other patterns
