The bolts were too long to fit our tires and we didn't want to put a hole in our new boat hull so once we had the tires on the base of the neck tag we took one Cutter and just trimmed off the excess and then sanded the edge. Just in case someone steps on them or makes a pact with them. Will use this one again. A very good quality

. but i am sending it back. Here's my problem: I'm using this on a tiny 5' x 8' trailer with very limited space on the frame. In fact, the only place is on the tongue. Everything is fine except the tire is only 8-10 inches off the ground once installed. I will return and use the guy that raises the tire a bit. This is a well made product and works great but just not for my application.

This U bracket fits my boat trailer very well. The product was accurately described and the correct dimensions were posted in the ad. I wasn't able to measure the underside of the trailer frame to make sure the bolt would fit in the frame and fit on the trailer tire. My tires were a bit too big so I had to put them in a less than desirable position. This is a great solution for those who don't already have a trailer tire mount.
