Don't let this happen to you

Seller is ok. Received the item quickly and in excellent condition. Thanks to this, aptasia grow MORE. Many recommendations will tell you this. It will kill if you ONLY press the Aptasia properly (which is very difficult to do as it will shrink to stone when it senses the release). If not, then it hides in its hole, becomes irritated and multiplies en masse. I do not recommend. Use Aptasia when eating nudibranchs, minty shrimp, and other natural predators. This is your best bet without a…

I didn't work for me!

I know there are people who swear by this stuff, but I'm not in this camp. At first it seemed to work, but then it almost became something of a growth formula for Aiptasia, who were banned from the Olympics and seriously looked down on in local league games. They just started popping up everywhere. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if I lifted the lid on the toilet bowl and found her there! I finally gave in and bought breath mints and a file and within a week we were free and clean! Your mileage…

no permanent solution for me

Doesn't work. I would basically feed the anemone some white goo and then cover the whole thing with a thick layer of material as per the instructions and leave the pumps off for a while. The healed Aiptasia seemed to dissolve and disappear, but kept growing back in the same spots, which I suspect are from the left piece. It definitely slowed them down but never completely removed them, and the population eventually became an issue of just 2 or 3 nems. In the end Bergia solved my problem. Red…

they weed the garden; it will not be disposable

This cure (and every other "medicine" I've ever tried) can kill the aiptasia you see, but you'll never find the mall. That's why the kit is a small bottle and the refill is a 16-ounce bottle. Use this stuff to knock down the big ones and use peppermint shrimp or other Aiptasia eaters to wipe down the rest. Once you control them, the shrimp will be able to control them. Homemade sorrel concoctions also work, but you have to mix up a new batch each time or it will be crunchy the next time you use

Works better than I expected

I am so impressed with this product. I heard about it many years ago but never had a problem with a purchase. I got some fresh eggs from a local hobbyist and unfortunately they ended up in my saltwater aquarium which had about 20 aiptasia, some of which were about the size of a silver dollar. This liquid has a consistency similar to Pepto-Bismol. It comes with a small syringe that you use to drip the product onto the Aptaysia. I think it's mainly some kind of calcium. I wish it was a little…

Does not work as advertised

Avoid at all costs. Absolutely NO NO, it "killed" a few big ones, at least I thought so. I would say I only had about 5% success killing her. The rest have bred with only two where there used to be only 1. Aptaisia regularly produces and releases spores from its "mouth disk". Any disturbance reinforces this. So if you try to inject it exactly as directed, it will absorb and ingest the venom, but will also release spores, increasing the overall population. I would go for the mint shrimp and…

This will NOT solve your Aiptasia problem

Well, first off, this isn't a hit to Red Sea's version of the Aiptasia Killer. I say "Red Sea version" because they are usually the same. lime water. Just check your PH and ALK after use and you'll see what I'm talking about. The problem with using this substance to kill Aiptasia is that you have to kill every last part of the anemone. If you miss even a tiny bit of foot, it will inevitably come back. And if you're lucky enough to leave a few pieces, then guess what. Your 1 aiptasia became 2…

I looked like a pile of snow in the spot where .

I've only been using this a little over a week ago, so far no signs of the aptasia returning. A few things though: 1. This aptasia grew between some zoanthids. It wasn't just in itself. It was slightly larger than my zoanthids but with much longer tentacles.2. I used an elbow. Once inside one of the Aptasia's tentacles, I inserted about a quarter of the syringe to make sure it covered the Aptasia's mouth. I then covered it some more and then released the rest into the surrounding space with the
